Victoria joined Moore Blatch in 2012, having qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 at Maxwell Gillott Solicitors where she specialised in education, community care, NHS continuing healthcare funding and public law. Victoria has over four years experience advising parents and young people in the wide range of education and community care law issues.

Victoria also advises parents and support groups/charities on a range of educational issues including special educational needs, admissions and exclusion appeals, disability discrimination cases and transport cases.

Victoria has developed expertise in representing and advising parents of children who have special educational needs. She has specialist knowledge in advising clients about applying for statutory assessments, advising on the contents of statements of educational needs and on appeals to the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Tribunal against decisions of local authorities. This knowledge has allowed for Victoria to be successful in securing amendments to a child’s statement, including high value placements for children with special educational needs, including residential provision.
