Compensation Awarded to Client Hit by Third Party Whilst Sat in Parked Car
We are acting for a client who was sat in his vehicle which was parked at the side of the road, when another driver lost control of their vehicle, ploughing into our client's vehicle. Our client's vehicle was forced up onto the pavement and hit a wall and he was trapped in the vehicle until paramedics and the fire service were able to free him. Liability was quickly conceded by the insurers and we are making arrangements for the client to be medically examined. In the meantime, the insurers have released an interim payment in respect of the damage sustained to our client's personal property.
