Compensation For Child Abuse Victim
We acted for a client who was subjected to a series of indecent assaults whilst a child. Although there is normally a two year time limit for pursuing a claim to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) we succeeded in getting the CICA to extend the time limit. We recovered damages of £6,600.00 in line with the CICA tariff of awards.
