Damages Awarded To Client Involved In Head On Collision

Back to Case Studies

This personal injury claim arose out of a road traffic accident which occurred in 2006.  Our client sustained personal injuries when her car was hit head-on by another vehicle.

Our client’s injuries included a lisfranc fracture to her foot along with some stress and anxiety.  The facture was to the joints of the metatarsals and caused our client to have difficulty walking initially, impacting our client’s leisure and social activates.  Our client’s injuries were permanent and would have some effect on her mobility long term.  Our client had retired prior to the accident.

After a brief period of litigation damages were agreed in the sum of £35,503.20 including a sum for care and assistance supplied by her husband, future replacement orthotics, medication and the cost of a potential operation needed in 5-10 years time.
