Delivery Driver Injured At Work
Our client was employed as a delivery driver for a well known national delivery company.
On the day of the accident he was asked to deliver a large amount of boxes containing large heavy items. The boxes were stacked into the back of the lorry by the night staff. As our client opened the door of the lorry one of the boxes, which had been stacked incorrectly, fell from the lorry onto his foot.
We pursued the claim on our client’s behalf and obtained an early admission of liability. A medical appointment was arranged promptly for our client and upon receipt of the medical report our client was awarded compensation for his foot injury and also received his full claim for loss of earnings.
