Major Wrist Injury
We acted for a factory worker involved in an accident at work. He and some colleagues were wrongly instructed to lift a heavy machine over a production line. In the process, our client’s wrist took an abnormal amount of weight and was injured.
Liability was denied throughout. The client had surgery on his wrist, but both the wrist and hand remained very stiff despite all efforts to make them more mobile.
After a day-long formal settlement meeting between both parties and their legal teams, our client accepted an offer of £124,375 damages, plus full legal costs.
