We wish to clarify to you that My Claim Limited is a company wholly owned, controlled and operated by some of the Partners of Moore Blatch LLP and Moore Blatch Resolve LLP of 11 The Avenue, Southampton, SO17 1XF, and London Court, 64 London Road, Southampton SO15 2AH respectively.
My Claim Limited do refer cases to Moore Blatch Resolve LLP as part of the appointed panel. The Partners of Moore Blatch LLP and Moore Blatch Resolve LLP fully adhere to the solicitors code of conduct that any solicitor who has a separate business which is likely to compromise or impair any of the key principles of the Solicitors’ Practice Rules. This requires for example that nothing be done that shall compromise a solicitor’s independence, a client’s freedom to instruct their own choice of solicitor and the solicitor’s duty to act in their client’s best interests. We must inform you as a customer of My Claim Limited that you do not enjoy the statutory protections attaching to the clients of a solicitor and we will ensure that you are properly referred to a panel firm who will then be able to provide services that will be subject to the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority regulations. The company does not act in any way to influence or constrain the appointed panel solicitor to prevent them advising you independently and entirely in your best interests. Any legal advice that may be offered by the company in the course of dealing with you is undertaken only as a necessary but subsidiary part of the main service of the company which is providing a marketing, recording and initial claims assessment service. No lawyer involved in the company is practising as such in the course of their work on behalf of the company.
