Man in Eire claims for accident in England
Our client lives in Eire but was involved in a Road Traffic Accident in England whilst going from an event to the airport to return to Eire.
This coincided with his mother’s 60th birthday and, with the client being a radio DJ in Eire, he was suppose to be DJ’ing at his mothers birthday.
Amongst this the client lost out on an airfare as well as having to pay a cancellation and re-booking fee, had to look for a B+B in which to stay overnight as his new flight was not until the next day, lost earnings, and has had to pay to see his GP in relation to this matter as per Eire GP practice.
Added to this, the client also had to travel just over 100 miles to his medical appointment arranged by us due to the lack of medical experts in Eire, all of which the client was more than happy to comply with knowing that we would be including all of these losses and expenses within his claim for injury.
We have just got to the point of making an offer to settle this client’s claim, where the injuries are only 9-11 month soft tissue injuries and worth around £2500.00, for a grand total of just over £10,500.00 due to the further losses in this matter.
Settlement is awaited but is anticipated to be a minimum of £8500.00.
