Occupier's Liability
Our client was a delivery driver and during the course of his employment he attended school premises intending to deliver frozen foods to the school kitchen. As our client was delivering the boxes of frozen food he slipped on a puddle of water in the school’s kitchen and sustained a minor soft tissue injury to his spine.
A claim was brought under the Occupier’s Liability Act 1957. The Defendants admitted liability for the accident. Our client’s injuries resolved within 10 months from the date of the accident and the client received an award of £2,750.
