Passenger’s Claim Runs Smooth

Back to Case Studies

Our client, a 26 year old male at the time of the accident, was a passenger in a work colleague’s vehicle.

They had stopped in the road, indicating to turn right into a side road when they heard a grinding noise from behind and then felt a hard impact to the rear of the vehicle.

A lorry, carrying granite, had not judged the situation or applied their brakes in time and, due to the load sliding forward to the front of the transport compartment of the lorry, collided with the rear of the vehicle our client was a passenger in.

Our client suffered a soft tissue injury to the neck and some minor travel anxiety which was to resolve within 6 to 9 months of the accident.

The claim has settled within a year of the accident, without any issues or problem, for £2000.00 which the client is very happy with.
