Periodical Payment Order For Brain Injured Lady
We acted for a lady via her Receiver in connection with a claim arising from a very significant head injury following a road traffic accident. The Claimant required 24 hour nursing care, nutrition by percutaneous gastrostomy and was confined to a wheelchair requiring 2 nurses for transfer. Liability was admitted in full by the third party insurers. We achieved a settlement of £125,000 for her injuries plus a periodical payment order which requires the third party insurers to pay her private nursing home fees and associated costs on an annual basis until she dies.
