Road Traffic Accident - Passenger Awarded Damages for Whiplash
A young lady aged 21 who was a passenger in her mother’s vehicle which was hit on the side had suffered from severe whiplash to the neck with pain to the upper thoracic and neck. She was unable to work for two weeks as a banker and could not undertake any sporting activities. Her physical symptoms lasted for a period of 2 ½ years and her psychological state for 3 years. She agreed her settlement at £6000.
