Scalded By Hot Tea
The client was standing at the till at the cafe where she worked when a colleague came out of the kitchens too quickly and knocked into another colleague who was holding two mugs of tea. The hot mugs of tea came out of the colleagues hands and the scalding liquid went down the back of the client, causing burn injuries.
The client instructed us to bring a personal injury claim against her employers on a 'no win, no fee basis'. The Defendants admitted fault for accident which had resulted from the actions of their employees, as well as the inappropriate layout of the premises.
We successfully recovered £3200 in compensation for the client.
